Letter from Principal Ksanznak, May 25

Filed in Hamagrael by on May 25, 2018

Dear Parents,

This weekend some of our 5th graders are in Iowa for the Odyssey of the Mind World Championship.  This is a great honor and I am sure they will have a wonderful time.  All the best to our Hamagrael Team of Andy Lee, Cate Dellenbaugh, Ila Jerabek, Jonah Koplik, Emmet Kauffman and Kathleen Connolly.

Over the next few months we will be putting together the class lists for the 2018-19 school year.  If there is anything that you would like to share with me about your child that will help with the class placement process, please feel free to send me a letter or an email by June 15.  You can include information about your child’s personality, learning style, strengths and areas in need of improvement.  I only ask that you do not request a specific teacher.

On Thursday, May 31 we will have our Hamagrael Art Show and Ice Cream Social here at school from 5-7pm.  Students will each have a piece of their artwork on display.  There will also be a scavenger hunt and ice cream sundaes to enjoy while you view the artwork.  Thanks so much to our coordinators Janice Wetherbee and Molly Philipp as well as our art teachers Traci Fortin and Kathy Buckley and Art Supervisor Melanie Painter.

On Friday, June 1 our 5th graders will be heading over to the Town Park to participate in the “Survivor Day” program with the 5th graders from all BC Elementary Schools.

Have a wonderful weekend. I look forward to seeing many of you at the Bethlehem Memorial Day Parade.

Sincerely,

Dave Ksanznak
