Letter from Principal Ksanznak, May 26

Filed in Hamagrael by on May 26, 2017

Dear Parents,

All BCSD schools will be closed on Monday, May 29 to observe Memorial Day.

Next week we will already be in the month of June.  It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were welcoming everyone back for the 2016-17 school year; the time sure flies by!  There are a lot of activities that take place this month so please check our website for dates and times and as always feel free to contact our office if you have any questions.

On Thursday, June 1 we will have our annual Hamagrael Art Show and Ice Cream Social from 5-7 p.m. here at school.  Each child will have a piece of artwork hung up in the building and Hamagrael staff members will be here to serve up ice cream for all to enjoy while viewing the artwork.  Thanks to Hamagrael art teacher Traci Fortin for her work with the children and to our PTA and Hamagrael Art Show chairperson Janice Wetherbee for all of their work putting this event together for us.

On Friday June 9 the Hamagrael staff is hosting a parent volunteer breakfast beginning at 8:30 in the cafeteria.  The staff would like to thank our wonderful parent volunteers who help us and the children in so many ways throughout the school year.  Hamagrael is a special place because of our volunteers and how well they work together with us to help the children.  I am always amazed at the quality and quantity of events that happen here at school.  The staff will be providing day care for this event as well.

Have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to seeing many of you at the Bethlehem Memorial Day Parade.

Sincerely,

Dave Ksanznak
