Letter from Principal Ksanznak, Apr. 20

Filed in Hamagrael by on April 20, 2018

Dear Parents,

On Wednesday, April 25 we will celebrate Administrative Professionals Day here at Hamagrael Elementary.  I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work daily with clerical assistants Nancy Brooks and Sue Doherty and building secretary Jeanette Machlowski, who are all truly dedicated professionals and a pleasure to work with. They handle all of their responsibilities with care helping make our school better each and every day.  Thanks Nancy, Sue and Jeanette!

If you know of any parents of children starting kindergarten in the fall of 2018, please let them know that the Bethlehem Central School District is hosting a Kindergarten Parent Information Night on Thursday, April 26 from 6:30-7:30pm at Slingerlands Elementary School.  The informational program will be set up with stations where BCSD faculty and staff will show parents what is new in today’s kindergarten classrooms as well as transportation, food service information and more.  This is open to all parents of children registered for kindergarten at one of our five elementary schools: Eagle, Elsmere, Glenmont, Hamagrael or Slingerlands.  No RSVP is necessary.

On Friday, April 27 the Bethlehem Central Community Foundation Wacky Olympics will be held at our high school.  Teams of staff members from each of our district elementary schools will participate in a series of wacky relay races to help raise fund for the foundation.  The doors will open at 5:30pm with food, face painting and other activities.  The wacky games will begin at 6:20pm. General admission is $5, student admission is $3 and pre-school children are free of charge for the event.

The next few months look to be quite busy here at Hamagrael and across the district so please check our website to keep current with all of the events.

Have a wonderful weekend.
