Filed in Hamagrael by on January 25, 2019

Dear Parents,

Today your child’s report will be posted in Aspen.  Along with the regular report card students in grades 4 and 5 have report cards for their work in art, library, music and physical education.  Our band and orchestra students also will receive report cards along with children who are in our Challenge program with Mrs. Wooster.

You can find information about the instruction rating scales and key for performance levels on our district website under the “Academics” tab.

Tomorrow is our Hamagrael Family Skating Night at the Bethlehem YMCA from 5:15-6:45 p.m.  This is always a fun event with pizza and treats available as well.  Thanks to our PTA and our coordinators Jodie Orzechowski and Robin Dailey for all of their help organizing this for our school community.

Today your child should bring home information about our upcoming “Community Service Afternoon” which is scheduled for Thursday, January 31 from 3:20-4:00 p.m. in our auditorium.  This is a great opportunity for to help the community in a variety of ways.  They can make Valentine’s Day and thank you cards for soldiers and Veterans, crafts for children at Albany Med and snowflakes for our “Adopt a Snowflake” program.  If you child would like to participate please send the permission slip back to school on Monday the 28th.

On Friday, February 1 students and staff can wear a shirt or jersey from their favorite team, Hamagrael attire or black and orange for “Super Bowl/School Spirit Day”.

Have a wonderful weekend and if you are planning on attending the Hamagrael Family Skating Night, I will see you there.

Sincerely,

Dave Ksanznak
