Dear Parents,

Your child’s report card is posted for you to view on Aspen. The Elementary Report Card Guide can be found on the “Information for Parents” tab on our Hamagrael website.  The guide will provide you with information about our instructional rating scales and performance levels.  All children in grades 4 and 5 will also receive special subjects report cards (Library, Art, Music, Physical Education, Band, Orchestra) as well.  Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

It will be another busy week here at Hamagrael.  On Tuesday, January 30 we will host our annual Hamagrael Winter Concert here in our auditorium.  The concert will feature our fourth and fifth-grade choirs, band and orchestra students.  We have a talented group of student musicians and I am looking forward to seeing them perform.  Thanks to our vocal music teacher Courtney Richmond, our band teacher Gen Vitale and our orchestra teacher Patrick O’Connell for all of their work preparing for our concerts.

On Wednesday, January 31 we have our popular “Community Service Afternoon”.  This is a great opportunity for our students to help the community in a variety of ways.  The program will run from 3:20-4 pm in our auditorium.  Thanks to Erin Svare, Krista Applebee and Amy Joyce for their efforts coordinating this event for us.

On Thursday evening we have our CAPER program from 6:30-7: 30 pm in our auditorium.  Our last CAPER on January 4 was canceled due to the weather so the children scheduled to read on that night will be able to read this coming Thursday.

Friday, February 2 is wear your favorite team jersey, Hamagrael attire or black and orange day here at school.  A fun way to start Super Bowl weekend.

Have a wonderful weekend.
