Dear Parents,

We have some fun events here at Hamagrael during our last full week of the 2018-19 school year.

On Thursday, June 20 the Hamagrael staff invites our parent volunteers who have helped us throughout the school year to a breakfast in our cafeteria beginning at 8:40 a.m.  This is our way to say thanks for all of your help and to let you know how much we appreciate your support.  There will be child care available while you enjoy the breakfast and social time.

Our Spring Run is set for Thursday, the 20th.  It looks like we should have a nice weather day for the run.  The grade level races will begin approximately 3:35 p.m. and will go off in this order:

3:35 p.m.         Kindergarten – ¼ mile

3:40 p.m.         Grade 1 – ¼ mile

3:45 p.m.         Grade 2 – ¼ mile

3.50 p.m.         Grade 3 – ½ mile

3:55 p.m.         Grade 4 – ¾ mile

4:00 p.m.         Grade 5 – 1 mile

On Friday we welcome back to Hamagrael our former students who are graduating from the Bethlehem Central High School this year.  We look forward to seeing them and hearing about their favorite Hamagrael memories.  There will also be a slide show and refreshments afterward for the graduates.

Our 5th graders have their end of the year Pit Party beginning at 6 p.m. at our middle school.  This is always a fun time for our 5th graders as they get to spend some time at our middle school where they will be going in a few months.

We will distribute yearbooks to our students who ordered them on Wednesday, June 19.  We have extra yearbooks for sale on a first come, first served basis.  The cost for a yearbook is $23 for soft cover book and we have a few hard cover books left for a cost of $28.  Cash or check will be accepted with checks made out to the “Hamagrael PTA”.  Thanks so much to Julie Levin, Robin Dailey and Julie Gilboy for all of their work putting the yearbooks together for our students and staff.

If you have box tops around the house, please send them in by the end of the school year to the main office.  Thanks to Julie Levin for coordinating the Box Top program for us.

Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Father’s Day to all celebrating on Sunday.

Sincerely,

Dave Ksanznak
