Dear Parents,

We start of the month of November with our Hamagrael PTA Scholastic Book Fair and Movie Night. The book fair will be held on November 6 and 7 from 9am-8pm and on November 8 from 9am-5pm.  Thanks to our coordinators Gianna Aiezza, Heather Cohen and Bill Ketzer and to the many volunteers who help out throughout the week. You can also set up an account for your child to shop at the fair.  It is called an eWallet. You can attach payment to the account for your child so they don’t need to bring in cash. Here is the link:

Along with our book fair we have our Hamagrael Movie night set for Wednesday, November 7 beginning at 6:30pm in our auditorium.  The movie this year is “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation.” Thanks to Jaime Cornell for organizing this for our community.

This week the Bethlehem Central School District will be recognizing our Board of Education for all of their work with our students, staff, parents and community.  There will be a special ceremony at the regular BCSD Board of Education meeting on November 7 beginning at 7pm at our high school. Thanks to our BOE members:

  • Michael Cooper – President
  • Holly Dellenbaugh – Vice President
  • Willow Baer
  • Christine Beck
  • Jonathan Fishbein
  • Meredith Moriarity
  • Christian Myer

Today your child will be bringing home an “Emergency Early Dismissal Information” sheet for you to complete for each child and send back to school.  We will keep one copy in the main office and one copy with stay in the classroom. We will use the information to help us when we need to close school early due to snow or an unexpected event such as a water main break.  This will help us make sure the children get to where they need to be. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

The Read for Ronald McDonald House donations are due and can be brought in and Mrs. Held will collect them.  The online donations should be completed by November 9.

Have a wonderful weekend and remember to turn back the clocks one hour this Sunday.
