Letter from Principal Ksanznak, Nov. 30

Filed in Hamagrael by on November 30, 2018

Dear Parents,

Tomorrow is the 35th annual Hamagrael Craft Fair from 10am-4pm here at school.  This is always a well-attended community event with over 90 vendors here selling hand-crafted items including winter accessories, home décor, fine art, pottery, quilts, jewelry, teas, jams, honey and much more.  There is food available and live music with former music teacher Lorraine Guyon and her band. Admission is free and there is a bucket auction to help support our PTA as well in the front lobby. Thanks to our many volunteers who are here throughout the day helping out from set up all the way to clean up and a very special thank you to our coordinators Marcene Lee and Kori Jones for organizing this event which really takes an entire year to put together.  Thanks to all for your support of the fair, and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

We have our December CAPER program set for Thursday, December 6 from 6:30-7:30pm in our auditorium.  We have a great group of readers signed up to read to us, refreshments at intermission, a used book swap and new book raffle ready for the evening.

Our last parent-teacher conference will be on Friday, December 7 with an 11:45am dismissal.  I hope that you have found the conferences to be helpful as a positive home school communication network can be a factor in helping children succeed in the classroom.

Our staff is looking forward to the Hamagrael Staff Luncheon provided by our PTA on Friday, December 7.  This is a special event as well as we rarely find time to get all of us together. Thanks so much to Cara Bashant and Nancy Capomacciao for their efforts in organizing this for us as well as to all of you for your support of this and our many programs here at school.  It is greatly appreciated.

If your child received Response to Intervention (RTI) services in Reading or Math with Ms. Feinberg, Mrs. Meyer or Mrs. Wooster, you will get an email letting you know when your child’s progress report is ready for you to view on the Aspen system.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Sincerely,

Dave Ksanznak
