Letter from Principal Ksanznak, Oct. 11

Filed in Hamagrael by on October 11, 2019

Dear Parents,

Our fall enrichment classes have begun! ONE SPOT HAS OPENED in the free Coding/Programming class for K-1 kids on Wednesdays; if you are interested in joining, email Christy Doyle at cdoyle@albany.edu. Also, even though we make announcements each day about who is going to an enrichment class, please try to remind your child as well. Lastly, there is still a critical need for room parents so please consider signing up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0848ACA729A3F94-fall3.

Our enrichment classes end at 4:20 p.m. and we do not have staff on hand to monitor students so please try to arrive on time for pick up.  Thanks for your help.

We have our October PTA meeting set for Thursday, October 17 beginning at 7 p.m. in our library.  There will be child care available during the meeting.

The Hamagrael Spirit Wear forms are due by Friday, October 18.  Thanks to Cara Bashant for organizing this for our school community.

All BC schools will be closed on Monday, October 14 for Columbus Day.

We will not have our Math Olympiad program for 4th graders on Wednesday, October 16.

Each week I write a letter to fill you in on upcoming events and programs we have here at school and in the district.  Along with reading our weekly information, I would encourage you to check out our district and school websites to keep up to date as well.

As always you can check our virtual backpack for forms about upcoming events.  Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1iWKeQdcnVv0ZZwwzfHwQGlQn9pXiUw44?usp=sharing

Have a wonderful weekend.

Sincerely,

Dave Ksanznak
