Dear Parents,

Tonight is our annual Hamagrael Halloween Party from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  Our PTA volunteers will be here right after school to begin setting up so if you have time to help out, stop over.  We will also need some extra help at the end of the evening to clean up after the event ends at 8:30 p.m. As always it should be a great evening!

At some point next week we will be practicing our “lockdown drill” here at school.  We are required to hold four of these drills through the school year. With good training and practice we are better able to react appropriately if something comes up.  We will let you know when the drill has been completed.

Our students and staff are encouraged to wear black and orange, Hamagrael or Bethlehem Central attire to celebrate Halloween on Wednesday, October 31.

Our first CAPER program of the 2018-19 school year will be held on Thursday, November 1 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  Our readers and announcers are all set for the program and as always we will have a used book swap, new book raffle and treats during the intermission.  This is always a fun, family event and thanks to our CAPER coordinators for the 2018-19 school year, Marcene Lee, Jennie Mahony and Katie Suhr for all of their efforts putting this together for us.

We have a lot of events going on during the month of November so please continue to check our website to keep up-to-date with what is happening here at Hamagrael.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Sincerely,

Dave Ksanznak
