Dear Parents,

This coming Sunday, September 23 is our Fall Family Picnic from 4-6 p.m. here at school.  This is always a popular event and the weather forecast for the day looks perfect. The picnic includes grilled burgers, hotdogs, sides, desserts, a DJ and dancing, hula hoop contests and you can also have the chance to win some great prizes at our raffle table.  Thanks to Molly Philipp and Erin Svare for their efforts in coordinating this event for our school community as well as to our many volunteers who have signed up to set up, cook and clean up. Thanks again. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Monday, September 24 is School Picture Day here at school.  Each class has signed up for a timeslot. Your child should have brought home information about ordering pictures.  If not, let us know and thanks to our school picture day coordinators, Yayoi Miyaima, Jackcy Jacobs and Haley Schaeger for organizing this program.

During the month of October Hamagrael Elementary will be participating in the Read for Ronald House program.  Your child brought home information about the program which is an optional program for our families to participate in.  Thanks to our librarian Pam Held and parent coordinator Kathy O’Meara for their work in organizing this for us.

Information on our Hamagrael After School Enrichment program was sent home yesterday with online registration beginning at 9am on Saturday, 9/22 and closed on Friday, 9/28 at 5pm.  The classes begin on October 1. Thanks to Christy Doyle for her efforts coordinating the enrichment program.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Sincerely,

Dave Ksanznak
