Letter from Principal Ksanznak, Sept. 8

Filed in Hamagrael by on September 8, 2017

Dear Parents,

It has been a busy first few days of school here at Hamagrael and the children are doing great.  As I visit the classrooms, cafeteria and the playground it is nice to see how excited the kids are to be here and their enthusiastic approach to school.  Thanks for sharing your children with us and we look forward to working with you throughout the year.

Your children will be bringing home some papers for you this week.  You should be receiving a free/reduced breakfast/lunch application, an emergency update form and both sides should be completed and returned to school by September 20.  A Fall Family Picnic form should be completed and sent in if you are planning on attending the picnic on Sunday, September 17 from 4-6 p.m. here at school.

Today two forms from the PTA will be coming home to the oldest child in the family – the PTA Directory form and the Fall Volunteer form.  These forms should be returned to school by September 18.

We will have a bus safety drill on September 14.  All children will participate in the drill as the bus drivers will go over safety rules and expectations.  This will take place when the buses arrive.

On Thursday, September 14 we have our annual Hamagrael Open House program.  This is an opportunity for you to meet your child’s teacher, learn about the grade level curriculum and expectations and special subjects as well.  Here is a schedule for the evening:
