Letter from Principal Reagan, May 25

Filed in Eagle by on May 25, 2018

Dear Parents,

Congratulations to our fourth and fifth graders who performed at our Spring Concert on Monday night.  I thought it was one of best performances to date!  I am always amazed at their growth in their musical skills from the Winter to the Spring.  Great job to Mr. O’Connell, Ms. Vitale and Ms. Richmond!

On Tuesday, May 29th we will be having our annual Memorial Day Assembly honoring service members who are also family and friends of our Eagle community.  A special thanks to the fifth graders for helping plan and organize this wonderful event.  The celebration is at 10:00 am ~ please join us if you can!

As we plan for next year, I would like to share with you our teacher assignments for the 18-19 school year.  Please note that these assignments are considered tentative and could change in the future.  Also, there are a couple of “TBD” – these teachers will be hired over the next month or two and I will be updated you as I know more information.

  •             Grade K – Mrs. Bogus, Ms. Lawrence and Ms. Carkner
  •             Grade 1 – Mrs. Browne, Mrs. Gaudiello and Ms. Sheehan
  •             Grade 2  – Mrs. Remmel, Mrs. Crawley and Mrs. Casey
  •             Grade 3 – Ms. Hall, Ms. Rodgers and Ms.  Lawler
  •             Grade 4 – Mrs. Nicholson, Mrs. Mara (current a 4th grade teacher at Slingerlands Elementary
who is transferring to Eagle) and TBD
  •            Grade 5 – Mrs. Malsan, Mr. Urban (moving from special education to 5th grade) and TBD

Also, I wanted to continue to thank you for your support in our fundraising for our playground.  We are getting closer and closer to our goal and I know this has been a long road.  Your endless generosity has not gone unnoticed.  Once I receive an update of our final numbers I will share these with you and hopefully we will be able to end the fundraising for the playground and get it delivered and in use!

Enjoy your three day weekend!

Fondly,
Dianna
