Letter from Principal Reagan, Mar. 9

Filed in Eagle by on March 9, 2018

Dear Parents,

We have had a great week at Eagle.  Our word of the week was BENEFIT.  There are many benefits to having a snow day, one being our fields are covered with snow!  Recess has been abound with fun snow play (and maybe a couple of rogue snow balls!).

Last night’s science fair was a huge success.  I learned so many interesting things such as why we can’t settle on Mars and how lava lamps work.!  Special thanks to Deb Stevens, Laura Stevens, Colleen Shields, and Sonya Sharma for coordinating this great event.  The students were professional and knowledgeable and I was very proud of them.

Our March Madness reading and 99pledges has had a great first week.  Kindergarten and first grade are in the lead with the most pledges and Mrs. Rowland’s class had the most reading minutes.  Thank you for all your support in helping your child read while also supporting the end of our fundraising for our playground.

Next week we have CAPER (Tuesday 6:30pm), PTO meeting at Garden Bistro (Wed 7:00pm) and our movie night on Friday (6:30pm).  Our movie feature is Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked.  Bring a blanket and friends – popcorn will be provided!  Also, on Wednesday we have a special Author guest, Stephen Savage, who will be presenting to all our students.  Book orders went home earlier in the week if you are interested in ordering a signed copy.

Have a great weekend,

Dianna Reagan
