A literary pumpkin patch at Slingerlands
They are some of the great characters from literature: Fancy Nancy, Bad Kitty, Tony Baloney, and of course, Captain Underpants. And they have all been memorialized as pumpkins by students at Slingerlands Elementary School. The project, spearheaded by the school’s library media specialist Mrs. Naumovitz, is ongoing and providing lots of fun for the students at the school this October.
