Meals for students while schools are closed

Filed in District, District News by on March 15, 2020

A message from the Bethlehem CSD Food Services Department:

While school is closed we want to make sure families who depend on the school breakfast and/or lunch program will still have access to food for their children. We are planning to have meals available beginning Tuesday for students who need them. However, we need your help in determining what the need will be so we can decide the most effective way to get food to our students.

If your family would take advantage of the meals this week, please fill out this form and submit the request form by Monday, March 16 at 2 p.m. On Monday afternoon, we will share more details on how families can receive these meals.

Select how many meals you would pick up each day this week for children in your household. Breakfast and lunch will be combined so one meal is equal to breakfast and lunch for that day for one child.

Meals are free to all students whether a student receives free meals during the normal school year or not. All children ages 18 and under would be able to get meals and all meals will still meet USDA meal program requirements. We will also do our best to accommodate special diets and allergies.

If you have any questions, please email Allissa Eiser, Food Service Director at aeiser@bethlehemschools.org.
