Congratulations to BC Odyssey of the Mind teams who had great success at the regional OOTM tournament last month at Shenendehowa High School. Four Bethlehem teams scored high enough to qualify for the state tournament, which had been scheduled to take place this month at Binghamton University. The state tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 public health crisis.
Odyssey of the Mind is an international problem-solving competition that stresses creative thinking, perseverance and teamwork. Teams must solve one of five problems within an eight-minute skit that includes student-created props, sets, costumes, songs and dances.
Any parent interested in learning more or starting an Odyssey team in the future can contact the district Odyssey coordinator, Rebecca Beiter at .
