
Raising a Beautiful Child parent session is Nov. 6
On Monday, November 6, the Bethlehem Central School District will host a workshop for parents entitled Raising a Beautiful Child. The workshop is designed to provide parents, guardians and other caregivers with practical tools that can be used to nurture and educate children of all ages, while enhancing their self-esteem & coping skills. The event will take place at the middle school and is open to families of students K-12.

Raising a Beautiful Child is part of The Emma, Alyson, & Katie Project sponsored by The Hance Family Foundation. The November 6 session will be presented by Kate Tuffy, MSEd. and Liz Munro, LCSW. The program is intended to reinforce the following in children:
- Ability to gain satisfaction from helping others
- Ability to develop coping skills
- Ability to develop an accurate self-awareness
- Ability to give and receive compliments
- Increased Independence in their home & community
