On Friday, October 27, members of the BCHS chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) members were joined by faculty, staff and students for Hat Day. The group donned hats and caps in an effort to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving. The message: keep a lid on drug and alcohol use. The public awareness effort was part of Red Ribbon Week, held annually by SADD to keep children safe from substance abuse.

During the Homecoming football game, the student volunteers also placed red ribbons on every car in the parking lot reminding drivers not to drink and drive or drive while impaired by drugs.

Thank you to our BCHS student volunteers and their faculty advisors and supporters!
