When a dozen scarecrows take shape across the front of the middle school, you know fall is in full swing. Thanks to the BCMS Garden Club and Mr. Warford, every year the giant scarecrows are a welcome addition to the school landscape and to the Kenwood Avenue neighborhood. Several students took part in this year’s Scarecrow Build, aided by faculty and staff who guided them in designing the lifelike figures out of straw and steel rebar.

Volunteers also provided a much-needed break from the work by providing apples, apple cider and cider donuts for the crew to enjoy. Well done, BCMS!
