Student, faculty artwork on display in April

Dozens of student artists and faculty members will have their works on display throughout the Capital Region and beyond during the month of April. Find out where you can view their artistry below:

The Bethlehem Public Library

During the month of April you can view student and faculty artwork locally at the Bethlehem Public Library. 

The faculty exhibit features the artwork of:

  • Mr. Peter Ruggiero
  • Ms. Kathleen Buckley
  • Ms. Kathryn Adams
  • Ms. Laura Forman
  • Ms. Kaaren Caron
  • Ms. Marielle Martin
  • Ms. Diane Segal 
  • Ms. Kathleen Hahn
  • Ms. Giovanna Prezio

The student artwork includes displays from the BCHS chapter of The National Art Honor Society Student Exhibition. This year there are 50 students participating in the exhibition. These students must have completed two full years of high school art and earn a 90 or above in their art courses. The theme of this years exhibition is “Emotions.”

The Norman Rockwell Museum

word collageSelect students in Studio in Art and Studio in Media Arts will have artwork on display at the 2017 Reimagining the Four Freedoms Student Exhibition to be held at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Students and parents are invited to a  reception on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a presentation and keynote address scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.

The Perella Gallery – Fulton Montgomery Community College

High School artwork was juried and selected to be part of the FMCC 2017 High School Art Exhibition. An artist’s reception will be held on Monday, April 24, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
