Filed in Archive by on February 18, 2021

On Feb. 24 and Feb. 25, students in grades 6-12 will be asked to take part in an online survey to help school administrators and the counseling team gauge overall student wellness in the 2020-21 school year. The brief, anonymous survey will take approximately five minutes to complete. The survey is only for middle school and high school students.

The survey will be administered to BCMS and BCHS students who are receiving in-person, hybrid or virtual-only instruction.

  • For grades 6-8, the survey will be completed during Period 1 on Wednesday, Feb. 24;
  • For grades 9-12, the survey will be completed during physical education classes on Wednesday, Feb. 24 and Thursday, Feb. 25.

The survey was created by the BCSD Counseling Department in consultation with building administrators. The goal of this survey is to identify how students’ thoughts and emotions contribute to positive feelings and challenging feelings. The survey will also be used by the schools to determine better ways to provide support to students at different grade levels both academically and emotionally.
