The Bethlehem Central Green Team will host the fourth annual Giveaway Weekend in the Town of Bethlehem from Friday, May 8, through Sunday, May 10.
Recycling and reducing waste are great, but what about reusing? We all have items that are still good, but we have no use for. Start preparing now, set aside gently used items you no longer need but that still have plenty of life left. Put them out on Friday, May 8, for others to take, and look around town all weekend, maybe you’ll find something you need!
Event Guidelines:
- Hours for the event are 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 8th – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 10th.
- Items to be given away should be placed at the end of participants’ personal driveway or curb ONLY.
- Event flier should be printed out and displayed with items, so that items intended to be given away are clearly labeled and no one accidentally takes unintended items.
- It is the sole responsibility of the homeowner to place items out and remove them by 5:00 p.m. Sunday. The Town will NOT collect any leftover items.
- Respect for personal boundaries is required; participants should rummage at designated curb sites only and at no time should anyone enter private property.
- Prohibited items: TVs/ monitors, mattresses, stuffed furniture, bedding
