An update from last weekend’s NYS Swim & Dive Championships…
“It was a great weekend all around and a strong way to finish up the season,” said Boys Swim Coach Tom Kearney.
- SCHOOL RECORD: The 200 Medley Relay of Ewan Izzard, Bhargava Janga, Jacob Hershberg, and Jack Keating broke the school record on Friday and on Saturday to place 5th in the federation and 3rd out of all the public schools.
- Ewan Izzard placed 10th in federation and 8th out of all the public schools in his 200 IM.
- SCHOOL RECORD: Jacob Hershberg placed 10th in federation and public schools in the 100 butterfly along with a new school record.
- SCHOOL RECORD: Jacob Hershberg also placed 3rd in the federation and 2nd out of all the public schools in the 100 backstroke with another school record.
- Ewan Izzard placed 10th in both federation and public schools for the 100 backstroke as well.
- The 200 freestyle relay of Mikolaj Wloszcycnski, Eli German, Ian Savage, and Jack Keating competed.
- Bhargava Janga dropped over a second in his 100 breaststroke to place 31st.
- Eli German went close to his best time in the 100 butterfly to place 38th.
