A team of 31 BC employees laced up for the 2026 CDPHP Workforce Challenge last Thursday, representing the district in one of the Capital Region’s largest annual road races. The 3.5 mile run/walk brought together thousands of participants representing workplaces from across the region.
BC staff showed strong team spirit throughout the event, sporting matching shirts with the slogan “Fast Feet, Sharp Minds”. Several runners turned in impressive performances across both individual and team standings.

The top BC women’s team finished 42nd out of 535 teams and ranked fifth among K-12 school teams:
