Please note that the information below is an annual requirement. The Districtwide Safety Plan is a general plan filed each year by the district that outlines the district’s response to emergencies.
Pursuant to NYSED Commissioner’s Regulation 155.17 (e) (3), the Bethlehem Central School District is making the district-wide safety plan available for public comment prior to its adoption. A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, August 12 at 7 p.m. as part of the Board of Education meeting, which will take place at the high school in Room D-122 and can be viewed online.

The public hearing will provide for the participation of school personnel, parents, students and any other interested party who wish to comment on the districtwide plan. The plan is expected to be formally adopted following the public hearing at the August 12 meeting.
Individuals may submit comments directly to the District Clerk Brittany Barrett, 700 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, NY 12054, or bbarrett@bethlehemschools.org no later than Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 3 p.m.
