The Bethlehem Central School District anticipates offering openings in its universal prekindergarten (UPK) program for four-year-olds during the 2027-28 school year. The number of available seats will depend on state funding and the availability of eligible community UPK providers.
The district currently serves approximately 100 UPK students through a community provider, TSL Adventures. Any anticipated openings for 2027-28 will be filled through a lottery, tentatively scheduled for May 2027.
To be eligible for the anticipated UPK lottery, children must:
- Be four years old on or before December 1, 2027.
- Be a resident of the Bethlehem Central School District.
- Apply through the online registration process. Enrollment is by lottery only. Registration does not guarantee enrollment.
Registration Is Online Through Aspen
All UPK lottery registration materials must be submitted through the district’s Aspen online portal.
The registration process depends on whether your family already has an Aspen account and whether your child has previously been registered through the district’s Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) process.
