Five BCSD students earned top honors in the 2025-26 Capital Area New York Association for Pupil Transportation (NYAPT) Poster Contest, with two students also receiving statewide recognition in the annual school bus safety competition.
The contest invited students to create posters illustrating this year’s theme, “Safe Rides, Everyday Heroes”. Student artwork was first judged locally by the BCSD Transportation Department. Winning entries then advanced to the Capital Area regional competition, with select posters moving on to the statewide NYAPT contest.
Two Bethlehem students were recognized at the state level during the NYAPT 2026 Winter Workshop:

- Division 4, Statewide Second Place, Robert Rosenblat, BCHS

- Division 2, Statewide Third Place: Dylan Delia, Glenmont Elementary
The following students were recognized in the Capital Area NYAPT Poster Contest:
- Division 1, First Place: Nina Liu, Hamagrael Elementary
- Division 2, First Place: Dylan Delia, Glenmont Elementary
- Division 2, Second Place: Niko Kita, Glenmont Elementary
- Division 3, Second Place, Emma Zhang, BCMS
- Division 4, First Place, Robert Rosenblat, BCHS
