On Tuesday, May 19, Eagle Elementary welcomed back members of the BCHS Class of 2026 for their Senior Assembly, a cherished Bethlehem tradition marking a full-circle moment before graduation.
The gymnasium filled with cheers as current students, staff, and families celebrated the soon-to-be graduates’ return to the halls where it all began. Seniors reconnected with former teachers, shared memories from their elementary school days, and reflected on their plans for the future.
A special moment during the assembly came when Ms. Jordon addressed the graduating class. The class of 2026 was her very first fifth-grade class as a teacher, making the reunion especially meaningful.
Ms. Jordon left the class of 2026 with three important pieces of advice as they prepare for graduation:
First, “take steps”, she reminded students to take steps towards their goals. Even small steps forward can lead to big opportunities and accomplishments over time.
Second, “look up”, she encouraged students to look up from technology and fully engage with the people, experiences, and world around them.
And, third, “remember your roots”, she reminded students that no matter where life takes them, they will always have a community at home rooting for them.
The celebration concluded with a sweet slideshow of the seniors’ time at Eagle, stirring smiles, laughter, and tears as families and graduates reflected on their earliest school days together. The afternoon served as both a joyful reunion and a heartfelt sendoff as the Class of 2026 prepares to graduate in June.
Thank you to the entire Eagle community for making this meaningful tradition so special. Congratulations and good luck to the class of 2026
