Three Glenmont Elementary School first-grade students are headed to SUNY Albany in June to participate in the 2024 First in Math Statewide Elementary Mathematics Tournament.
The first-grade team was announced as regional winners in the virtual Statewide Elementary Mathematics competition. The students received trophies and Glenmont Elementary School will receive a plaque and a $1,000 prize from NYSED.
The Glenmont team included:

- Jackson M. (Gentile)
The tournament is part of the NYSED’s expanded math access program. The EMAP initiative provides students free access to the First in Math program. The program offers online standards-based math games and activities at no cost to NYS districts or students.
