At its meeting on April 23, the Bethlehem Central Board of Education appointed Christopher Jantson as the new K-12 Music Supervisor for the district, effective July 1. Jantson will oversee music education, curriculum, and programs across all seven schools, succeeding longtime music supervisor David Norman, who is retiring at the end of the school year. …

Bethlehem Middle School offers an extramural tennis program for students in grades 6-8 known as Friendship Tennis. This program is not an interscholastic program but rather an introductory experience to tennis with an opportunity to engage in competition with students from other schools. Server issues at the state level that impacted NYS English Language Arts (ELA) online testing at BCMS on Tuesday are continuing today, Apr. 9. Tuesday’s outage only impacted the middle school. On Wednesday, April 2, a group of 40 seventh-grade students from Bethlehem Central Middle School took a trip to the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) at the University at Albany.
