At its April 23 meeting, the BC Board of Education recognized several student-athletes for their accomplishments. Each student was presented with an Eagle pin in recognition of their achievements by Board of Education President Holly Dellenbaugh and Superintendent Jody Monroe.
BC winter sports teams enjoyed a remarkable season, marked by outstanding accomplishments. Rummers excelled, setting new school records in the 1,000, 1,500, and 3,000-meter runs. In basketball, students reached the milestone of 1,000 career points, while others achieved personal best times in the butterfly stroke and celebrated beam and floor victories in gymnastics. Additionally, several teams achieved notable successes at the NYS Section II Championships, with some athletes earning All-American honors.
The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) also recognized teams as winter scholar-athlete teams, highlighting the academic achievements of our athletes.
