On Thursday, Nov. 30, dozens of intermediate and AP French students from Bethlehem visited Claude Monet: the Immersive Experience in Schenectady, to expand upon the AP French themes of art and culture.

On the tour, students learned about the progression of Monet’s work and how it was influenced by historical events and Monet’s personal life. The tour included an immersive 360-degree digital art exhibit, a virtual reality “journey” through the inspiration behind some of his best-known pieces, and a hands-on exhibit.

After the tour, students visited Tara Kitchen for an authentic Moroccan lunch.
