A new Bethlehem Special Education Parent Teacher Association (SEPTA) was officially chartered by the New York State PTA on June 17, 2025. Founded by several dozen dedicated parents and faculty members, Bethlehem SEPTA is committed to fostering strong partnerships among families, educators, administrators, existing PTAs, and the wider community to support students receiving special education services.

The group meets monthly to plan student and family activities, host informational events, and promote inclusive practices throughout the district. 

The next SEPTA meeting is Monday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. in Room D-122 at BCHS.
