2026-27 Kindergarten registration information

Online kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year is now open. 

To be eligible to begin kindergarten in September 2026, children must:

  • Be five years old on or before December 1, 2026, and
  • Be a resident of the school district

Online Registration Only

All kindergarten registration materials must be submitted through Aspen online

Families without an existing Aspen account will need to create one.  Families who already have their students enrolled in the district (including those who participated in the UPK lottery or CPSE) will need to re-register their students.

Not registered in Aspen?
  • Navigate to the Aspen home page, under FAMILY Log In, select “Request an account”
  • Once your account is created, you may begin online registration

Already have an Aspen account?

Families of students previously registered through the UPK lottery, or CPSE, skip to the next section for instructions on how to re-register.

  • Log in to Aspen
  • Select “New Student” from menu
  • Click “Initiate” and follow instructions to register
  • You will be able to upload all required documents to Aspen

Families of Students Previously Registered through the UPK Lottery or CPSE

Families whose children were registered through the UPK lottery or CPSE and are moving to kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year have already completed much of the registration process. 

To complete kindergarten registration:

  • Log in to Aspen
  • Select “Forms” from the menu
  • Under Returning Student Registration, select “New”

You will need to provide:

  1. Updated immunization records
  2. Updated physical
  3. Completed kindergarten questionnaire

If you have moved or your child will not be attending Bethlehem Central School District for kindergarten, please notify the registrar by email at registration@bethlehemschools.org.

Required Registration Documents

All families must submit the following documents as part of kindergarten registration.

Proofs of Residency

Three (3) proofs are required. Acceptable documents include:

  • Homeowner’s insurance policy (parent/guardian name and address)
  • Auto insurance policy (parent/guardian name and address)
  • Cable television installation receipt
  • National Grid bill
  • Legal lease agreement with property owner and parent/guardian signatures
  • Home purchase contract listing the property address and the purchaser’s name

Additional Required Documents

  • Child’s birth certificate or passport
  • Current immunization records (official, signed by physician)
  • Parent/guardian photo ID
  • Custody papers, if applicable

Students can not be registered without all of these documents.

Special Education Services

If your child receives special education services and will not attend kindergarten in fall 2026, you still need to register your child and contact the Office of Student Support Services at 518-439-8886 to discuss next steps.

Private School Families

Families planning to enroll their child in a private kindergarten program who wish to receive district transportation must still register their child with the district. Required materials must be submitted by April 1, 2026.
