The Bethlehem Central boys varsity tennis team won the Section II Class AA title on Thursday, May 21. It is the third year in a row the team has won the sectional title and the seventh time in the last eight years. The BC team defeated the #1 seed, Shaker, 7-2 on Thursday.
The team will play Columbia High School next in a New York State subregional game. The match will be held on Tuesday, May 26 at 4 p.m. at Shenendehowa. The winner of Tuesday’s match will move on to the New York State regional match to face CBA of Syracuse. That game is scheduled for Friday, May 29 at 3:30 p.m. at Nottingham High School in Syracuse.
