The Bethlehem Central varsity track and field team finished a great season with a historically successful trip to the New York State championships in Middletown, NY on June 13-14, 2025.

  • BC’s 4×800 meter relay team of seniors Kate Bannigan and Charlotte O’Meara, junior Logan Kuhn, and sophomore Anna Chrapowitzky won the New York State and Federation championships with an incredible time of 9:02.18. The team also set a new BC school record with their winning outing.
  • Eighth-grader Sophia Chromczak finished a very impressive 4th in the 2,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 6:54.33. Chromczak’s time also sets another new BC school record.
  • Junior Jonathan Radcliffe qualified for the NYS championship meet in the 200-meter dash and ran a very strong 22.28, which was one of the fastest BC times ever in that event.

Congratulations to these amazing athletes!
