To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, students at Bethlehem High School have been spreading joy, culture and cuisine with their classmates and with younger students across the district.
Members of the high school’s Spanish Honor Society and ALANA (African, Latinx, Asian, Native American & Allies) club traveled to each of the district’s five elementary schools to read children’s books written by Spanish-speaking authors. The initiative not only promotes literacy and cultural awareness but also builds connections between students of different ages.
Thank you to our guest readers from the high school including: Claire Aliggayu, Mae Allison, Zoey Bichteman, Emma Chung, Elizabeth De Tuya, Avani Dixit, Sammy Grossman, Lilly Kahn, Evan Kosoc, Sophia Landi, Finn McNamara, Alyssa Olewnick, Ana Paul, Denis Pauze, Angelina Pidgeon, Maya Ragone, Paisley Sims, Eloise Sugar and Nuala Svare.
