On Monday, Nov. 10, students and staff at Elsmere Elementary School welcomed special guests to the school, honoring the active and retired members of the Armed Forces. 

The event began with a warm welcome as students proudly escorted the veterans in their families into the gym. Students shared songs and messages of gratitude for the veterans’ service and sacrifice. A slideshow featuring photos of family members of both students and staff highlighted the personal connections with the Elsmere community.

Thank you to all who took part in this year’s Elsmere Veterans Day Assembly, including the color guard from American Legion Blanchard-Currey Post #1040 in Delmar.
