Dear Families of Incoming Grade 9 Students,
Bethlehem Central High School is excited to welcome your student to our annual Grade 9 Orientation on Wednesday, September 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the high school.
Orientation Activities
- Welcome by the Principal, Assistant Principals and School Counselors
- Building tours with upperclassmen
- Introduction to clubs and extracurricular activities
- Distribution of Chromebooks, student IDs and Yondr pouches
School Supplies
- There is no supply list for Grade 9. Teachers will communicate any required materials on the first day of school.
- Math students will use NumWorks Graphing Calculators. There is a discount available for those planing to purchase a NumWorks calculator.
Visit the High School Aug. 28-29 (Optional)
Students are welcome to walk their schedule ahead of orientation:
- Thursday, August 28 – 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Friday, August 29 – 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Please have your student print their schedule at home. If printing is not possible, a copy can be provided in the Main Office.

Bus Transportation
If your student will be riding district transportation in the new school year, please register for bus transportation before Aug. 15.
If your child will be riding the bus to Orientation on Sept. 3, buses will arrive at a student’s bus stop 3 hours and 30 minutes later than the usual morning pick-up time (locations and regular pick-up times will be listed in Aspen at the end of August). Please have your student at the stop 10 minutes early to ensure timely pick-up. Students arriving by other means should be dropped off at the Main Entrance.
