This spring Bethlehem Middle School, along with other members of the Suburban Council, will be offering an extramural tennis program for students in grades 6-8.
The program will consist of weekday and possibly weekend practices and matches (both home and away) against other member schools of the Suburban Council. This program is not an interscholastic program but rather an introductory experience to tennis with an opportunity to engage in competition with students from other schools.
Requirements:
- Must be a student in grades 6-8 at Bethlehem Middle School
- MAY NOT be currently playing on a spring athletic team (you may not end your participation on a spring BC team to join this program)
- Students should make a commitment to attend as many practices and matches as possible. If they cannot, advance communication with the coach is expected. (Tentative schedule is below but is subject to change.)
- Students who have participated on the JV or Varsity tennis teams are NOT eligible
- Must provide your own tennis racquet and appropriate footwear
- If participation numbers are large into groups with alternating practice times.
