Following current events and writing about them. Fifth grade students at Slingerlands Elementary received a shout out for their poems and raps.
Every week in library, the students study current events by watching rap-style videos from a service called Flocabulary. In response to the news, students wrote poems and raps to enter the Flocabulary shout out contest.
They won!!
