Three BCHS student musicians have been selected as participants or alternates for the 2025 NYSSMA Conference All-State Music Festival to be held December 4-7 in Rochester, New York. They are:

• Ben Cross – Mixed Chorus 
• Michael Jantson – Mixed Chorus, String Orchestra, Jazz (Alternate) – Jantson will perform with the String Orchestra (Bass)
• Keiran McNay – String Orchestra (Alternate – Cello)

Selection for NYSSMA Conference All-State is extremely competitive, with over 6,500 sophomores and juniors typically auditioning for All-State at NYSSMA Solo Festivals held around New York State each spring.

The top performers from around New York are selected to participate in the NYSSMA Conference All-State music ensembles based upon their adjudication score and ranking. The students have the opportunity to work with renowned conductors from around the country over the 4-day event, which culminates with a performance in one of three concerts held at the Eastman Theatre in Rochester, New York.
