A consultant-led K–5 Enrollment and Capacity Study is underway to evaluate and balance student enrollment across the district’s five elementary schools. Currently, Glenmont and Eagle Elementary Schools are operating at or near capacity, while Elsmere, Hamagrael, and Slingerlands are being underutilized and have unused classroom space. The study may result in adjustments to elementary school attendance zones.
A Community Forum has been scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Central Middle School to present up-to-date information about the attendance zones study and to gather feedback. The meeting is open to all families. The meeting (except breakout sessions) will be recorded and available for viewing following the meeting.
You can RSVP or submit a question for Thursday’s meeting using this Google Form.
No formal recommendations for boundary changes have been made and options that will be presented at the Nov. 20 meeting are preliminary proposals ONLY.
