On Friday, Feb. 6 at the Section 2 bowling championships, BC’s own Carter Martin emerged as the top overall bowler in the tournament, scoring an average of over 244 per game over six games.

According to Coach Todd Tyler, Carter’s stellar performance at the tourney almost broke an all-time Section 2 record for a three-game series, a record that has been held since 1993.

Carter, a grade 9 student, is now headed for the New York State bowling championship on March 14.

Best of luck to Carter at the State Championship, and congratulations to members of the boys’ varsity bowling team on a successful season!
