On Wednesday, June 11, Hamagrael Elementary School students and staff welcomed back members of the school’s Class of 2018, now the BCHS Class of 2025.

The returning students were serenaded by current fifth graders, who sang “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield. At the end of the song they unfurled a 25-foot banner featuring lyrics from the song that read “Today is where your book begins.”

Principal Ian Knox welcomed the students and their families. Former and current Hamagrael teachers and staff were on hand to congratulate the students with certificates and flowers. A surprise guest at the event was the “original Mr. K,” former principal Dave Ksanznak. A slideshow featuring photos of students from their days at Hamagrael brought laughter and smiles from the returning students.
