On Friday, September 23, Hamagrael Elementary School welcomed nearly 100 cyclists who were part of the 2022 Ride for Missing Children (RFMC). The stop at the school was one of many for the Albany-area team of cyclists who participated in the 100-mile ride to raise public awareness of the plight of all missing children and the need for child safety education.

On the crisp, sunny fall morning, the riders were greeted by cheering students and staff from Hamagrael. Representatives from various police agencies joined the riders and led them to the front of the school where they visited with students.

Prior to the biking event, representatives from the organization gave a child safety presentation for students, with tips on how to stay safe online and elsewhere.

Thank you to everyone who helped provide the riders with much-needed encouragement as they helped to deliver important safety and wellness messages for students across the Capital Region.
