Bethlehem Central School District is pleased to recognize ten student musicians selected to honor ensembles of the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA), including Conference All-State and Area All-State ensembles. Selection to the NYSSMA ensembles is very competitive and these students represent the highest level of musical achievement.
Conference All-State ensemble performances, featuring a very select group of top musicians from across New York State, were held in Rochester in early December. Senior Romeo Vashishth, a violinist, traveled to Rochester to perform with the All-State Orchestra.
The Area All-State ensembles, which feature the top student musicians in the greater Capital Region, performed at Proctors in Schenectady in November and included nine BC students.
