BCMS is excited to announce that the musical Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition will be performed live January 19-22, 2023.
Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, featuring songs from the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz, continues to thrill audiences worldwide. The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition is a one-hour adaptation specially tailored for middle school-aged actors.
Auditions for Wizard of Oz will be held in early October. The musical will be coordinated by; Mrs. Dashew, Director/Choreographer, Mr. Dashew, Music Director, Ms. Daly, Tech Director and Mr. Gilday, Set Construction. An information meeting will be held for all Middle School students who are interested in auditioning or joining the stage crew in late September.
