The Bethlehem Central School District is mourning a sudden loss to the school community. Karen Maloney, a longtime aide to students with disabilities in the district, passed away on Sunday, April 7.
Maloney was employed by the district for more than 20 years, at the middle school and most recently at Slingerlands Elementary School.
Counselors are available for anyone in the district needing help or assistance surrounding this loss.
The district will update this information regarding services for Karen Maloney as they are received from the family.
